Tropical Nights 08

Over 400 guests supported Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee as they enjoyed the 15^th Annual Tropical Nights celebration on Saturday, April 19^th at the home of Darrell and Mary Ann Turner in northwest Bradenton.  The evening’s Bourbon Street theme included gourmet Cajun/Creole cuisine, tropical drinks, street performers, raffles, auctions and live music – all to benefit the programs of Meals on Wheels PLUS.  Hors d’oeuvres were provided by Anna Maria Oyster Bar, the BeachHouse, Ezra, and Indigo Reef & Grill, in addition to main course items by Meals on Wheels PLUS and Renaissance on 9th. 

Corporate sponsorships, which helped to make the Tropical Nights event possible, included Turner Tree & Landscape, Fahey Pest Management, Manasota Commercial Construction, Tropical Cadillac, and Woodruff & Sons.  Also sponsoring the event were Johnson Printing, NiteLites Landscape Lighting, and TDS Construction.

 Mary Ann Turner, Ellen Campbell CEO/President of Meals on Wheels PLUS and Darrell Turner welcomed the guests.

Shaman donated their time once again this year and as always rocked the event all night.

C-Sharp added to the Bourbon Street theme with steamy jazz.

Frank Brunner entertained and excited the Live Auction guests into a bidding war at the Live Auction.
