The Senior Enrichment Center is the premier place for the fun and over 50 to gather and participate in recreational, cultural and educational programs. Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 am -5 pm

Renaissance on 9th is now entirely smoke-free. Please refrain from smoking on property.

Arts & Crafts Class is back and it’s all new! Explore your creativity on Thursdays at 10 am, members FREE, nonmembers $2. Schedule & supplies needed:

  • Jan 19: angels ( purchase supply kit from instructor for $4)
  • Jan 26: placemats (need to bring photos or magazine cut outs, depending on size need from 10-30 pics)
  • Feb 2 & 9: cancelled
  • Feb 16: money shirt (need to bring 4 dollar bills and buttons)
  • Feb 23: paperclip earings (bring 14 paperclips, be creative and use colored paperclips)
  • March 1: crochet (bring yarn of your choice and G crochet needle)

LEARN TO SPEAK SPANISH

Have some fun while learning Spanish. Classes are taught by state certified instructor Miguel Aponte, local resident, originally from Spain. The classes are on Fridays at 11 am, for a 4-week session. $30 for members, $40 for nonmembers. Materials included. Registration is required, and scheduling depends on interest.

BALLROOM DANCE CLASS - Beginning or Intermediate

Enjoy learning the basic steps to popular ballroom dances: Waltz, Swing, Rumba, Salsa, and more.

Ballroom Dance II
(Intermediate) Thursdays from 10:45-11:45 am.

GET FIT! We have great new pricing at our fitness center: Members monthly pay-as-you-go is now only $10, and nonmembers pay only $15. To use our well-equipped fitness center, you must complete a one-time orientation for $50 (bring your friends and split the cost) and provide a doctor’s signature indicating that you are physically able. COMPUTER ESSENTIALS

Learn from a pro! Maximum class size is six, so you'll receive specialized attention and guidance.
The schedule is six sessions on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, for 2 weeks. Frequency of classes is by number of students interested, but sessions are typically offered twice a month.
