Since 1972, Meals on Wheels PLUS has served 8,338,570 meals to homebound elderly and/or handicapped and at adult and child daycare centers.
	Distributed emergency food orders sufficient to prepare meals for one week for more than 74,543 families in need.
	Distributed food orders sufficient to prepare for 60,696 needy families.
	Guaranteed 12,184 babies had full tummies and dry bottoms with infant baskets from The Food Bank of Manatee.
	Supplied 917,517 meals to those in need during weather-related emergency situations.
	Provided Thanksgiving Day dinner with all the trimmings for 34,647 people that would have otherwise been alone or done without.
	Insured that 7,189 people benefited from our Heat and Energy Assistance Program for the elderly.
	Delivered 3,600 library books to the homebound.
	Administered 17,059 blood pressure and vital sign screenings to participants at Friendship Dining Centers.
	Traveled on 327,330 transportation trips.
	Provided 305,254 hours served by RSVP volunteers to area non-profit agencies.
	Allowed companions and caretakers more than 25,422 hours of respite knowing their loved ones were being taken care of at our Adult Day Center.
	Served an additional 13,000 meals thanks to the generosity of our Golden Fork Corporate Business Partner program initiated in 2001.
	Served 12,708 meals to boys and girls in child daycare centers throughout Manatee County.
